
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerbek Kosherbayev, visited the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, as reported by the press service of the Kyrgyz head of state.
During the meeting, key aspects of bilateral relations were discussed, as well as opportunities for deepening cooperation in various areas. Both sides exchanged views on issues of multilateral interaction within international and regional organizations.
Sadyr Japarov noted that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are developing positively and have stable trends. He emphasized that the political dialogue between the states is actively supported at high levels.
The President highlighted the necessity of implementing joint projects in the areas of trade, investment, as well as transport and energy infrastructure, including the project for the construction of the Kambarata HPP-1.
Yerbek Kosherbayev expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings from the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He noted that the trusting relationship between the two leaders creates a reliable platform for strengthening allied ties and expanding cooperation in economic, investment, and humanitarian spheres.
At the end of the meeting, Sadyr Japarov conveyed his best wishes to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and emphasized the importance of further coordination of actions on the international stage.
