Sadyr Japarov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan

On February 13, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, met with Ermek Kosherbayev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. This information was provided by the press service of the head of state.
During the meeting, key issues of bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest were discussed, and significant potential for deepening interaction was noted.
The parties also exchanged views on multilateral cooperation within international and regional organizations, confirming their readiness to coordinate efforts on the global stage.
The President emphasized that the relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan demonstrate steady growth and are filled with concrete content, while political dialogue is actively developing at a high level.
Japarov stressed that important projects in the fields of trade, investment, and water resources are being implemented through joint efforts, including the construction of the Kambarata HPP-1.
Ermek Kosherbayev thanked for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings from the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Minister noted that the trusting dialogue between the two leaders is a reliable foundation for strengthening allied relations and ensuring stability and prosperity for the peoples of both countries.
He also confirmed that one of the priority tasks of Kazakhstan's foreign ministry is the effective implementation of agreements reached at the highest level and the activation of cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian spheres.
At the end of the meeting, Japarov conveyed his best wishes to Tokayev for success in his state activities.
