The decree signed by President Sadyr Japarov proposes a phased withdrawal of subsidies for enterprises engaged in heat supply.

This document was signed on February 11, and it stipulates that the process of subsidy cancellation will be carried out until 2033.

According to information from the Ministry of Energy, approximately 2 billion soms are allocated from the state budget annually to the population due to low subsidy tariffs.

It was previously reported that the authorities intend to achieve self-sufficiency in the energy sector, including heat supply, by 2023. This is also reflected in the republic's development program for the next four years. Currently, there is an annual increase in tariffs for both electricity and heat supply in the country.
