Zheenbek Kulubaev participated in a meeting with the President of Germany in Berlin

On February 11, 2026, in Berlin, Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev participated in a meeting with the Federal President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the heads of foreign policy agencies of Central Asia.

During the meeting, the minister conveyed greetings and best wishes from President Sadyr Japarov. He emphasized that the high-level visits that took place in 2023 and 2024 significantly contributed to strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany. Kulubaev also confirmed the interest of the Kyrgyz Republic in deepening partnership in the areas of trade, economy, investment, and cultural exchange.

Frank-Walter Steinmeier, for his part, noted the importance of stability and security in the region, as well as its potential in the fields of energy, trade, and transportation. The President of Germany expressed readiness to continue developing cooperation with Central Asia, mentioning his visit to the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan and emphasizing the importance of joint efforts to address issues related to climate change and glacier melting.
