The Head of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan called on doctors to return to their homeland

What are the guarantees of safety, decent salaries, and comfortable working conditions for them in the country?

During his working visit to Moscow, Kanbek Dosmambetov, head of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, met with 60 medical workers currently employed in Russian medical institutions. At the meeting, he presented an ambitious plan for modernizing the healthcare system and promised to create favorable conditions for those doctors who decide to return to Kyrgyzstan.

The minister reminded of the recent statement by President Sadyr Japarov regarding salary increases for teachers and medical workers, which was made in April of this year. According to expectations, the average salary of a doctor will rise to 62,500 soms, while experienced specialists will be able to earn up to 91,700 soms.

However, this initiative has faced criticism on social media: users point out that even after the salary increase, it remains significantly lower than the rates in Moscow, which start from 110,000 to 120,000 soms. In addition, attention must be paid to the technical re-equipment of medical institutions and ensuring the safety of workers in the course of their activities.
