In the Lenin district of Bishkek, residents of Lushchikhina Street expressed their dissatisfaction with the Coca-Cola plant, which, according to them, emits an unpleasant odor in the mornings. This was reported by Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh.

She emphasized that the plant was built with violations, and sanitary standards were not properly observed during its construction.

Minister of Nature Meder Mashiev stated that this issue will be investigated.

Daniyar Amangeldiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, noted that he personally visited the plant.

“It should be remembered that this plant was one of the first. It does not belong to hazardous industries. Coca-Cola is a public company that carefully monitors environmental standards. Their shares are traded on international stock markets. I have been to the plant myself and can confirm that there is no harmful production there,” he added.
