In the Lenin district of Bishkek, local residents of Lushchikhina Street expressed their dissatisfaction regarding the unpleasant odor that, according to them, comes from the Coca-Cola plant. Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva raised this issue at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh.

She emphasized that the plant was built with violations, and sanitary standards were not properly adhered to during its construction.

Minister of Ecology Meder Mashiev promised to look into the matter.

First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev reported that he personally checked the situation at the plant.

“It is important to remember that this is one of the first enterprises in the country, and it does not pose a danger. Coca-Cola is a public company that takes environmental issues seriously. Their shares are traded on international stock markets. I visited the plant and can assure you that there is no production that harms the environment,” he added.
