The government commented on the requests from parliamentarians
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev stated that there are no plans for the re-legalization of cars with foreign license plates.
He noted that citizens were given sufficient time to complete the legalization process earlier.
“The state created all the necessary conditions: deadlines were extended and additional windows were opened in public service centers. Nevertheless, many citizens treated this issue with indifference. There are no opportunities for restarting the program,” emphasized Amangeldiev.
In addition, the deputies reported that they are receiving inquiries from citizens interested in the legalization of cars.
