Ramiz Aliyev, Deputy Mayor of the capital, reported that large-scale work is planned within the framework of the general plan to repair 120 kilometers of roads, six bridges, and three interchanges. In addition, emphasis will be placed on the development of public transport, and the opening of 12 new streets is also planned.
Daniyar Amangeldiev, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, added that the new general plan project includes the construction of interchanges and overpasses. "A budget has been allocated for these purposes. Issues of road infrastructure are being addressed in cooperation with the city hall, as sometimes municipal funding proves to be insufficient," he noted.
