The second round of negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States of America has begun in Abu Dhabi. This was reported by Rustem Umerov, head of the Ukrainian delegation and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.

Umerov noted that the participants in the negotiations will split into working groups to discuss key issues, after which a joint synchronization of positions is planned.

According to "RBK," the Russian delegation is headed by Admiral Igor Kostyukov, who serves as the head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The consultations are taking place in a closed format and will last for two days. Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia, stated that the Kremlin does not intend to publish the results of the trilateral group's work. The previous round, which took place on January 23-24 in the UAE, also did not involve public statements.

According to Politico, citing sources among Ukrainian and American officials, the current round of negotiations may be more promising. The main topic of discussion will be the territorial issue.
