He noted that excessive criticism of the statements made by deputies is unacceptable.
“Deputies represent the interests of the people and have the right to express their opinions. Voters entrusted them with a five-year mandate to raise relevant issues. We support the work of the executive branch and adopt necessary legislation. In turn, deputies should also feel respect from the executive branch. Our common goal is the welfare of the people, friendship, and prosperity. I hope that the executive branch will take our words into account. The parliament has its own responsibilities, and it fulfills them,” the speaker added.
It is worth noting that the day before, President Sadyr Japarov expressed dissatisfaction with deputies who oppose extending the training period for drivers. He emphasized that throughout his career in the Jogorku Kenesh, he has never been a populist.
