The President was briefed on the report by the head of the National Agency for Religious Affairs
On February 3, Monday, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held a meeting with Talantbek Tashibekov, the head of the National Agency for Religious Affairs, during which a report on the agency's activities was presented.
This meeting was a significant event in the framework of state building, as the commission transformed last year now has the status of a National Agency. This indicates that issues of religion and interethnic harmony are priorities for the current government.
One of the key topics of discussion was the plans to honor outstanding figures in connection with the 30th anniversary of the organization. Japarov not only supported this initiative but also proposed posthumously awarding the title of Hero of Kyrgyzstan to Chubak Jalilov, who remains an important figure for the country's religious community.
At the end of the meeting, the president instructed Tashibekov to continue the work of the National Agency in a systematic and transparent manner, emphasizing the importance of strengthening interfaith and interethnic harmony, as well as promoting unity and justice in society.
