According to the adopted decision, this plot, which is state-owned, has changed its category from "agricultural land" and "forest fund land" to "land for industry, transport, communication, energy, defense, and other purposes."
In the process of transformation, the following plots are allocated:
- 14.61 hectares of irrigated land, 1.36 hectares of gardens, 2.87 hectares of unused land, and 0.25 hectares of rain-fed land;
- 12.5 hectares of forest fund land, which belongs to the Chatkal forestry (including areas for pastures, roads, and strips along rivers).
The local authorities of Chatkal have been given the following instructions:
- to make changes to the land accounting;
- to ensure the use of the plot only for its intended purpose;
- to restore lost agricultural lands at the expense of low-productivity lands;
- to develop and approve urban planning documentation;
- to ensure archaeological supervision during earthworks and construction;
- to withdraw the plot in case of its misuse or non-use.
This resolution will come into effect in ten days.
