The Speaker of the Parliament checked the emergency schools and kindergartens in Kara-Balta
During the inspection, he visited School No. 5, the building of which is in an emergency state. It was privatized in 2011 and returned to state ownership in 2018. The building, constructed in the 1950s, is currently not in use due to its dilapidated condition. Local authorities proposed to consider the possibility of building a new kindergarten on this site, as well as constructing an additional wing for School No. 7 to address the issue of a lack of places for students. Currently, about 1,200 children in Kara-Balta are waiting for their turn for kindergartens, and in some schools, classes are held in three shifts.
The Speaker instructed the representative of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services to immediately prepare projects for new educational buildings, noting: "The state must create the necessary conditions for quality education. As a city located near the capital, Kara-Balta must fully address the issues with schools and kindergartens."

He also noted that due to delays in construction work, tender procedures are being canceled: "The ministry must implement new approaches, ensuring speed and quality. The old working scheme is no longer relevant."
