The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved an action plan for 2026 aimed at implementing the National Development Program until 2030. The corresponding decision was signed by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The document outlines four key areas for development: industrialization, agriculture, tourism, and green energy, as well as transforming the country into a regional hub.
The main goal is to double the volume of industrial production by 2030 and create at least five technoparks in various regions.
The key geostrategic position of Kyrgyzstan at the intersection of major trade routes provides an opportunity to take an active role in international transit transportation, as emphasized in the statement.
In the agricultural sector, the task is set to increase agricultural production by 30% and to double the volume of processing of these products.
Green energy is highlighted as a crucial element of the entire action plan of the cabinet.
Additionally, personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of plan implementation has been established for the heads of state bodies, presidential representatives in the regions, and heads of local self-governments involved in its execution.
