Fifteen deputies, Mayor R. Noruzbaev, city hall employees, and heads of city institutions participated in the session.
During the session, the budget, drafted by the city hall in cooperation with the city council, was approved. The city budget amounted to over 140 million soms, which is a record figure. It includes significant projects planned for implementation in 2026.
The main issue on the agenda was the approval of the budget for 2026. The deputies unanimously approved the budget in the record amount of 140 million soms.
In accordance with the budget, at the initiative of the deputies and the permanent budget commission headed by K. Djeenchoroey, priority projects aimed at improving urban infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for citizens have been outlined. Among them are: the construction of the city's central park, the purchase of special equipment for municipal needs, the modernization of water supply and sewage systems, the installation of playgrounds and workout areas, road repairs, landscaping of parks, and the renewal of garbage containers.
As a result of the meeting, the city hall was tasked with ensuring effective, targeted, and timely use of budget funds, as well as taking all necessary actions for the quality implementation of the planned projects," the official statement noted.
