On February 1, a new round of trilateral negotiations on Ukraine will take place in Abu Dhabi, as confirmed by the Kremlin. This announcement was made by the official representative of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, reports BBC News.

Peskov did not go into details, emphasizing that "public discussion of the details may negatively affect the course of the negotiations," reports RIA Novosti.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had already mentioned the planned meeting on February 1. In his evening address on January 26, he noted: "We have preliminarily discussed the possibility of a meeting of the teams on Sunday. It would be wonderful if we could expedite this process. Ukraine is ready to discuss and agree on all key issues."

The first round of trilateral negotiations involving Ukraine, Russia, and the USA took place in Abu Dhabi on January 23 and 24. All parties characterized the meeting as positive and constructive.
