The Russian government has decided to expand the list of infectious diseases for which labor migrants will undergo examinations. Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya reported that this proposal was supported by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and members of the cabinet during a meeting with deputies of the "United Russia" faction.

“We have reached an agreement that the government will develop the necessary regulatory acts to expand the list of infectious diseases for which foreigners wishing to work in Russia will undergo mandatory medical examinations,” Irina Yarovaya added.
