In Kyrgyzstan, there may be a rise in prices for legal services, as reported by Deputy Dastan Bekeshev on his Telegram channel.

He noted that a new initiative from the government is being discussed in parliament, which could change the rules for representation in courts.

According to Bekeshev, the concept of "legal representative" is planned to be introduced, which will limit the ability of ordinary citizens to represent themselves in court. Now, only individuals with higher legal education, three years of work experience in jurisprudence, and registered with the bar will be able to represent interests in court. This, in the deputy's opinion, will inevitably lead to an increase in the cost of legal services, particularly impacting socially vulnerable groups, while more affluent citizens will hardly notice this change.

He also pointed out that such a situation will negatively affect the lawyers themselves, who will find themselves dependent on the new rules and will be required to pay membership fees.

In conclusion, Bekeshev mentioned previous reforms in the notary sphere, which have already led to a significant increase in service costs and complicated life for citizens with limited financial means.
