Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan joined Trump's "Council for Peace"

The first participants of the Gaza initiative were announced in Davos


At the event in Davos, U.S. President Donald Trump introduced the first members of his new initiative called the "Council of Peace."

High-profile officials from 19 different countries gathered on stage, officially named as the founders of this council under Trump's leadership.

Among the participants were representatives from Bahrain, Morocco, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the UAE, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia.

It is noteworthy that no leader from Western Europe attended the event, as pointed out by the FT.

It is expected that the final composition of the Council of Peace will include world leaders. Initially conceived as part of a plan to rebuild Gaza, its powers have since been expanded.
