The first forum, initiated by Chingiz Aitmatov in 1986, became a platform for uniting outstanding representatives of culture, science, and art from around the world.
The State Secretary stressed that the main goal of the forum remains unchanged: to promote humanitarian values, develop international dialogue, and strengthen Kyrgyzstan's position in global humanitarian initiatives. He added that the jubilee event should meet global standards and occupy a significant place on the cultural map of the world.
Participants of the meeting emphasized the need for the forum's theme to reflect current global challenges and correspond to the historical legacy created by Aitmatov. Ideas were proposed to deepen the concept of the event and update its content.
In conclusion of the meeting, Arslan Koichiev instructed to organize effective work among all involved structures, reminding them of the approaching deadlines for the forum.

The Issyk-Kul Forum is an international intellectual and humanitarian platform created to discuss the global challenges facing humanity and the significance of culture, science, and moral values in the modern world.
The forum was founded in 1986 at the initiative of Chingiz Aitmatov with the aim of gathering leading thinkers, writers, scientists, and public figures from the East and West on the shores of Issyk-Kul at a time when the world was divided by the "Iron Curtain".
The first forum became a unique phenomenon for the late Soviet era, uniting representatives of various ideologies and cultures in an open dialogue format.
