At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, held today, January 21, deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva shared information about a collective statement she received from residents of the Lenin district. They expressed concerns regarding the planned construction of Sheraliyev Street, which will run from Akhunbaev Street to Gagarin Street, with a possible connection to Termechikova Street, and the potential demolition of their homes. The Bishkek City Hall commented on what measures will be taken within the framework of the new master plan.

“The project for this street construction was included in previously approved master plans developed during the Soviet era, as well as in the master plan for 2006-2025. Similar sections of the street and road network are also planned in other districts of the capital,” the press service stated.

Within the framework of the new master plan, these decisions are maintained as long-term prospects for the development of the city's road infrastructure. At the same time, the city hall stated that there are currently no plans for the practical implementation of this project in the near future,” the municipality added.
