The roadmap for cooperation between the CSTO, CIS, and SCO was discussed by Masadikov and Lebedev

Recently, a meeting took place to discuss cooperation issues between the CSTO and the CIS. The Secretary General of the CSTO, Taalatbek Masadykov, met with Sergey Lebedev, the Secretary General of the CIS, as reported by the press service of the organization.
During the discussion, the participants exchanged views on the current international and regional situation, as well as shared their organizations' experiences on key areas.

In particular, the topic of implementing the roadmap for the development of cooperation between the CSTO, CIS, and SCO for 2026-2028 was raised. This document was signed at a meeting held on September 3, 2025, in Beijing, and concerned integration projects.

Senior officials from both organizations unanimously noted the importance of the role of regional structures in maintaining peace, preventing instability, and creating a new security architecture in Eurasia, as well as in strengthening economic and humanitarian cooperation, as stated in the press release.
