Diplomats Discussed the Opening of the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Sochi
Today, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almaz Imangaziev, and the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Osh, Roman Svistin, held a meeting to discuss the opening of the General Consulate of Kyrgyzstan in Sochi.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, various aspects of Kyrgyz-Russian consular cooperation were addressed during the discussion.
The diplomats also discussed issues of operational interaction between the relevant authorities. Special attention was given to ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of both countries.
As part of the protocol portion of the meeting, Roman Svistin handed over the original consular patent to Almaz Imangaziev.
At the end of the meeting, the parties emphasized the need for further strengthening of the partnership and expressed their readiness for active cooperation in the consular field.
