Chairman of the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic Tynchtyk Shainazarov commented on the accusations of Zhyldyzkan Zholdosheva

The Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums, Tynchtyk Shainazarov, responded to the statements made by Zhyldyzkan Zholdosheva, who previously claimed a parliamentary mandate in the Jogorku Kenesh.

Zholdosheva participated in the early elections held on November 30, 2025, and managed to garner a record number of votes among women—2,590—running in constituency No. 8. However, later the district electoral commission decided to annul the voting results at polling stations No. 5249 and No. 5514, which led to the approval of a new list of deputies that included Janarbek Akayev, Ulan Primov, and Nurzhamal Torobekova.

After this, Zholdosheva expressed her dissatisfaction with the decision of the CEC, pointing to a video that, according to her, documented instances of vote-buying in constituency No. 27 in Issyk-Kul. On January 15, she sent an appeal to President Sadyr Japarov and the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev, urging them to take action against the head of the CEC.

In her appeal, Zholdosheva also recalled a conflict that occurred on April 1, 2011, in the building of the Jogorku Kenesh, which escalated into a brawl. According to her claims, Shainazarov was involved in this scuffle, allegedly boasting that at that moment he "broke Japarov's nose and mouth and injured his forehead with a ring."

Additionally, citing information from journalist Turat Akim, she claimed that Shainazarov was allegedly detained with 20 kg of drugs. In conclusion to her appeal, Zholdosheva called the decision to annul the votes "illegal."

In response, the CEC's press service released a comment from Shainazarov, in which he denied all the accusations made by Zholdosheva.
“I was very surprised and upset by her words that I allegedly beat President Sadyr Japarov during our time as deputies and still boast about it. This is complete nonsense, slander, and manipulation. As for the 20 kilograms of heroin, I don’t even want to comment on that—only a person with mental disorders could come up with such a thing,” he stated.
“If Zhyldyzkan Zholdosheva wishes, I can help pay for her treatment with a psychiatrist to improve her mental state,” Shainazarov added.
