The Minister of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic visited the University of Music in Austria
One of the important meetings was the discussion with the Rector of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Ulrike Sih, as well as with the Deputy Director of the World Museum of Austria, Christian Schicklgruber. During these negotiations, important aspects of developing bilateral cultural and humanitarian cooperation, exchanging experiences, implementing joint projects and programs, as well as training youth in the field of culture and art were discussed.
The Minister emphasized that cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Austria began in 1992, noting that the preservation and expansion of cultural ties is an important component of bilateral dialogue. He also highlighted the need to increase the accessibility of cultural resources, develop museum and performing arts, support creative youth, and implement modern technologies in the cultural sphere.
The Kyrgyz side expressed interest in studying the Austrian experience as an example of best practices and confirmed its intention to deepen cooperation, including the participation of representatives from both countries in joint cultural events.
At the conclusion of the meetings, the parties expressed gratitude for the productive dialogue and confirmed their readiness for further development of partnership relations.
