According to the new version of the document, the duration of stay for foreigners will be determined based on their citizenship and the grounds for entry. Foreigners who entered Kyrgyzstan on a visa or have a residence permit may stay in the country for the duration of these documents.
Citizens of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia) can stay in Kyrgyzstan without additional visas for up to 90 days within each 180-day period from the date of entry.
For citizens of certain countries listed in the annex to the resolution, a visa-free regime is established for up to 30 days within each 60-day period, unless otherwise provided by international treaties. Citizens of Uzbekistan can stay in the country without a visa for up to 60 days within a 120-day period.
Special conditions apply to citizens of Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Mongolia — they are allowed to stay in Kyrgyzstan without a visa for up to 90 days within each 180-day period.
Citizens of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain can stay in Kyrgyzstan without a visa for up to 180 days within each 360-day period, unless otherwise provided by international agreements.
A unilateral visa-free regime has also been introduced for holders of United Nations passports (UN Laissez-Passer) for a period of up to 60 days. At the same time, one item has been removed from the list of countries specified in the annex to the resolution.
The new resolution comes into effect from the moment of its official publication.
