Vladimir Putin submitted laws on the collection of alimony in the CIS countries to the State Duma

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has submitted to the State Duma draft laws concerning the ratification of protocols that address issues related to the collection of alimony in the CIS countries. These documents are already available in the electronic database of the State Duma.

The protocols, signed on behalf of Russia on May 13, 2025, pertain to amendments to the conventions on legal assistance and legal relations in civil, family, and criminal matters, adopted on January 22, 1993, and October 7, 2002. The proposed amendments will ensure the possibility of enforcing court decisions on the collection of child support in the Commonwealth countries.
