Edil Baysalov: We need to reconsider the visa-free regime for U.S. citizens

In light of the new visa requirements announced by the U.S. State Department, Edil Baisalov, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, expressed the opinion that it is necessary to reconsider the visa-free agreement for citizens of this country. He shared this in his account on the social network X.

According to Baisalov, the visa policy should be based on the principles of mutual respect and parity.

“With the introduction of such high barriers for our citizens, we cannot remain indifferent to what is happening,” he noted.

It is important to note that according to the new requirements, Kyrgyz citizens must pay a deposit of up to $15,000 when applying for a visa, but this does not guarantee the issuance of a visa.
