Deputy Minister of Education Mukhtar Baymurzaev reported at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee that there are 271 home-type kindergartens actively functioning in the country.
These institutions accommodate 6,228 children and employ over 800 staff.
The Ministry of Education noted that many state and municipal preschool educational institutions of this type are located in rented premises. For example, in the city of Kara-Suu, there are 44 such kindergartens, in Uzgen — more than 60, and in the Nookat district — 41. The rental of premises is carried out from private individuals, and the rental expenses are covered by the state budget.
