According to the press service of the Cabinet, these vehicles were purchased for a total of 44 million 800 thousand soms. The purpose of the procurement is to strengthen the material and technical base of the Academy's scientific institutions for conducting archaeological, geological, geophysical, biological, and other field research.
During the ceremony of handing over the vehicles, Deputy Baysalov emphasized that the Academy of Sciences receives ongoing support from the state: the institute's building has been completely renovated, and the salaries of employees have been doubled. He noted that the new vehicles will assist in conducting scientific research and expeditions in remote and hard-to-reach areas of the country, as well as in fulfilling state scientific and scientific-technical tasks.
Baysalov also added that the state will continue to pay attention to the development of the scientific sector, emphasizing that it faces important strategic tasks. The scientific community is expected to provide innovative solutions and a real contribution to the country's economic growth.
