According to the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh, he addressed important issues related to the development of education and support for teachers during the meeting. This year, a salary increase for teachers is planned; however, according to the speaker, this is just the beginning.
“We intend to increase teachers' salaries, but this is only the first step. Support for the education sector will continue. The Jogorku Kenesh, within its powers, will intensify work on legislation aimed at developing education and improving working conditions for teachers. We will support all initiatives that contribute to this. It is time to make changes to existing laws; this is necessary,” he noted.
In addition, Mamataliyev commented on cases related to student behavior, emphasizing that the responsibility for raising children should not rest solely on teachers.
“We must not forget that fundamental skills and values are acquired by children in the family. If parents, teachers, and society actively participate in the educational process, we can raise a worthy generation,” the speaker added.
