The Cabinet approved the rules for accounting children of school and pre-school age
This instruction regulates how local government administrations and local self-government bodies should account for all children aged 5 to 16 who are required to receive general education. It also outlines the mechanism for interaction between educational institutions, authorized bodies for the protection of children's rights, local education departments, and other organizations in the accounting process.
The accounting of school-age children will be conducted at the level of the rural district, cities, and other settlements, as well as within the administrative districts.
All children aged 5 to 16 residing within the rural district, city, or other settlement must be accounted for. This applies to both those enrolled in general and initial vocational education institutions and those who have not completed basic general education.
The adopted decision aims to protect the rights and freedoms of students in state and municipal educational institutions, including preschool, general, and initial vocational education, as well as additional education for children.
The resolution will come into force 10 days after its official publication.
