How Naryn Region Achieved Record Results in Preschool Education
There are 25,023 children aged 1 to 5 living in the region, of which 16,577 attend kindergartens. Considering the established national standard for coverage of 60%, the region has achieved a rate of 66.25%, which exceeds the established norm.
The decrease in the relative indicator in 2025 is explained by the introduction of a new practice allowing children to be admitted to kindergartens from the age of one. This has led to a sharp increase in the total number of children, which, in turn, has affected the percentage indicators.
However, new measures are planned for 2026 aimed at further increasing preschool education coverage and improving attendance rates.
