At Capital School No. 37, Afghan War Veterans Conducted a Lesson for High School Students

In Bishkek, in the Oktobrskiy district, a significant event took place at school No. 37, dedicated to the 37th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, as well as to Defender of the Fatherland Day. As part of the event, certificates for initial military registration were handed out.

High-ranking guests attended the event, including Colonel-General Abdygul Chotbaev and Colonel Zholoy Chyntemirov, the chairman of the Oktobrskiy district council of veterans of wars, labor front workers, the Armed Forces, and law enforcement agencies.

Before the main program began, Colonel Zholoy Chyntemirov conducted a "Lesson of Courage" for high school students, during which he spoke about the reasons for the conflict in Afghanistan, the lessons learned, and the activities of modern veterans' organizations.

The program started with a screening of a documentary film about the events of the war in Afghanistan. After that, veterans shared their memories of serving in that country.

At the conclusion of the event, the school principal, Dinara Atantaeva, delivered a speech in which she emphasized the importance of military-patriotic education for youth and expressed gratitude to the veterans for their participation in this work.
