In Naryn Region, the positions of directors of 9 schools and 43 preschool institutions are vacant
During the discussion about the situation with vacancies in educational institutions, it became known that out of 151 operating kindergartens in the region, 43 institutions do not have permanent leadership. The main reason for this situation was identified as social factors. Currently, the average salary of a kindergarten teacher is about 35,000 soms, while kindergarten directors earn an average of 25,000 soms. The low level of wages has led to a shortage of candidates for leadership positions over the past two years.
As of today, there are also open vacancies for directors in 9 schools in the region.
Regarding vocational lyceums, there are 6 such educational institutions operating in the area. Lyceum No. 87 has two branches—in the villages of Kazan-Kuygan and Kulanak; however, both branches are not operating at full capacity.
Currently, the possibility of using the building of the branch in Kulanak as a kindergarten is being considered. As for the building in Kazan-Kuygan, its condition has been recognized as emergency; considering that students from two villages come to this area, the construction of a new school will be proposed.
