According to the university, this forum has become a good tradition, bringing together scientists, specialists in agriculture, and students. The main goal of the event is to exchange experiences, implement new technologies, and promote the development of the agricultural sector in Kyrgyzstan.
The first day of the forum focused on issues related to crop production and gathered farmers, agribusiness entrepreneurs, representatives of relevant agencies, and students from KNAU. Participants discussed advanced methods of cultivating grains, technical crops, as well as fruits and vegetables.
Champions among farmers shared their experiences and presented practical reports on the development of their farms and the implementation of innovative technologies. Among the speakers were also KNAU students who presented the results of their research and proposed original solutions for the agricultural sector:
Turdubekov E.A., a third-year student of the Faculty of Agronomy and Forestry, highlighted the topic: "Chickpea as a Crop Adapted to Climate Change," where he discussed the advantages of chickpeas as a drought-resistant and temperature-variable crop.
Ernis K. Akbermet, also a third-year student of the Faculty of Agronomy and Forestry, delivered a report on the topic: "Methods and Advantages of Clonal Root Propagation in Horticulture."
Sadat Beishenbekova, a first-year master's student of the Faculty of Technology and Bioresources, presented a presentation on the topic: "Application of Modern Biotechnologies for Producing Quality Potato Seed Material."
The presentations sparked active interest and lively discussions among forum participants.
The "Agrodialog–2026" forum will continue for two more days, offering new thematic sections, discussions, and collaborative approaches to addressing the issues of sustainable agricultural development in Kyrgyzstan.
The university rector, academician Nurgaziev R.Z., supports the initiatives of young scientists in developing modern scientific directions in the agricultural field.
