On February 10, Minister of Construction Nurdana Oruntaev, together with the mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, and heads of relevant departments, reviewed the projects for social facilities and the sites where new schools will be built in the city of Osh.
Among the planned facilities:
- An additional building for 375 students at secondary school No. 33 named after S. Alymkulov, located at: Ozgur village, Konur-Jaz street, No. 3.
- An additional building for 750 places at the school named after J. Bokonbaev, address: MTU Kurmanjan Datka, N. Isanova street, No. 27a/1.
- A school for 1000 students on the territory of school No. 2 named after Salizhan Zhigitov (Karl Marx), located at: MTU Kurmanjan Datka, Tashkent street 50.
- An educational institution for 750 places at secondary school No. 3 named after M. Lomonosov, address: MTU Suuyman-Tuu, Kurmanjan Datka street 97.
- A new school for 700 places on land plot No. 26 on 10th street in the Ak-Buura-2 residential area (40 ha), rural district Tölöykön.
- A school for 700 places in the village of Ishkavan, rural district Kyzyl-Kyshtak.
- An educational institution for 500 places on the plot located at: Sary-Zoo, 2nd street No. 20k, rural district Kyzyl-Kyshtak.
- An additional building on the territory of secondary school No. 38 named after B. Alykulov on U. Salieva street, MTU Manas-Ata.
- A new school for 1200 places in the new residential area Ene-Sai, rural district Kyzyl-Kyshtak.
- A school for 500 places on the land plot in the village of Surottu-Tash, H. Khabibullina street 2, rural district Kyzyl-Kyshtak.
During the visit, Minister Oruntaev examined the construction sites and project documentation, giving relevant instructions to the heads of departments.
The Ministry of Construction noted: "Due to the sharp increase in the number of students compared to the designed capacity of schools in Osh, project and estimate documentation has been approved, and the implementation of programs for the construction of 10 new educational institutions has begun."
