This information was announced by Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev on February 7 during a visit to Absamata Masalieva Street.
According to the mayor, the "Ümüt Nariste" kindergarten will move to the new premises.
“We plan to open a kindergarten here. We will transfer the "Umut Nariste" kindergarten to this building. The property was returned to state ownership through court proceedings. The building must be vacated starting Monday. The premises of the former kindergarten will be handed over to the school named after Salizhan Sharipov,” noted Toktorbaev.
During the tour, they also discussed a multi-story building located near the school, which reportedly belongs to former deputy Davran Sabirov. The mayor instructed the responsible parties to verify this information. It is clarified that this structure was built on municipal land, and court proceedings are currently underway regarding the return of the land.
On Absamata Masalieva Street in Osh, there were two hotels named "SunRise." One is located at No. 105, and the other at No. 27, not far from the school named after Salizhan Sharipov.

In February 2025, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the return of the "SunRise" hotel to state ownership. At that time, its value exceeded 74.6 million soms [853,058.89 dollars at the old NBKR exchange rate].
The investigation established that from 2004 to 2007, former officials of the Osh city mayor's office and other state employees illegally transferred this social facility into private hands. As a result, the current owners opened a hotel.
In this regard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under Article 336, Part 2 ("Corruption") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The three-story building was returned to state ownership.
Local residents report that during Soviet times, this building was used as a kindergarten for the Osh Silk Combine named after VLKSM.
- Zhantoro Satybaldiev served as mayor of Osh from 2000 to 2003, then he was succeeded by Satybaldy Chyrmashev from 2003 to 2005, and from 2005 to 2009, the mayor was Jumadyl Isakov.
