The Creative Festival "Open Osh" Took Place at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University
The opening began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the new assembly hall, attended by the university rector, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Professor Abdilbayet Mamasidikov, as well as the faculty dean, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Jumagul Zheentaeva, along with the student community.
During the official part of the event, the rector congratulated all attendees on the improved learning conditions and emphasized the significance of the festival. He urged students to engage actively in their studies and strive for professional development that meets modern requirements.
Next, Dean Jumagul Zheentaeva delivered a speech, noting that such events contribute to expanding opportunities for youth and women in the socio-economic sphere, which is particularly relevant in our time.
As part of the festival, guest lectures were held covering various topics, including:
– the presentation of the creative digital platform "Open Osh";
– discussions on the role of youth in sustainable development and ecological tourism;
– the creation of eco-oriented clothing and accessories using Kyrgyz national heritage.
Students specializing in "Design" showcased their work at a fashion exhibition featuring the "Selen Style" collection. There was also a fair of handmade products and workshops on creating items from wool using the "dry" felting method and making brooches using the "kurak" technique.
The festival became a significant platform for students and guests, providing an opportunity to learn about innovative projects, ethnodesign, and traditional crafts, while supporting the creative initiatives of youth.
