During the meeting, issues related to the migration situation concerning the education of foreign citizens in Bishkek universities were discussed, as well as measures to improve cooperation between law enforcement agencies and educational institutions.
Participants in the meeting noted that law enforcement agencies identify violations of public order and migration legislation by foreign students. In this regard, the Main Department of Internal Affairs emphasized the importance of complying with requirements, including the possession of documents that confirm identity and legality of stay in the country.
In addition, university leaders were urged to enhance explanatory work among foreign students and to organize monitoring of their compliance with migration rules. They were also recommended to inform the police about cases of student expulsion so that law enforcement agencies could promptly respond to the need for their deportation.
