Significant changes are currently observed in preschool education.

In the village of At-Bashy, Osipa Asanbekova, the head of the K. Tynalieva kindergarten, conducted training for her colleagues. A Turmush correspondent spoke with her.

Asanbekova noted that the new educational institution implies an approach focused on the interests of the child. Educators are now expected to act not only as sources of knowledge but also as mentors who create conditions for the full development of children.

The main task of the new standard is to ensure the multifaceted development of the child's personality. The educational process takes into account the interests, abilities, and individual characteristics of each child.

According to the developed document, children's development encompasses areas such as health, physical activity, social skills, cognitive abilities, language, and art. All these aspects are implemented through play methods and in accordance with the age characteristics of the children.

The key principles of the new standard include: consideration of children's interests, an individual approach, inclusivity, the creation of a developing environment, cooperation with children, and active interaction with parents.

It is important to emphasize that today educators should not just "teach" children, but create conditions for their development. Currently, various training sessions and educational events are being conducted to implement the new standard.

— What is the main goal of the training conducted?

— We emphasized that modern requirements demand educators to ask children questions and assignments that promote reflection. We also discussed the correct application of levels of competence and Bloom's taxonomy (an important tool for formulating educational goals and assessing student achievements). We stressed that modern education should develop children to levels of analysis and creative approaches.

— How were the new requirements of the state standard explained?

— The new standard requires that children's development occurs through life examples and play activities. In the training, we highlighted that these methods are key to developing children's cognitive abilities.

— What should be considered when planning a lesson?

— When developing a lesson plan, goals should be formulated not from the perspective of the educator, but from the child's position. Goals should reflect the actions that the child will perform within the allotted time and the results they will achieve. It is also important to use SMART criteria for formulating goals, which allows transforming abstract ideas into specific and achievable tasks.

— What skills did educators acquire during the training?

— At the end of the training, we discussed both traditional and innovative formats for lesson plans. Educators received clear recommendations on types of assignments and answers to emerging questions regarding the content of the standards and methodological support for practical application.

— How do you assess the results of this event?

— The training served as a summary: for a week, standards and the developmental program were discussed, followed by practical sessions. Educators noted that they received many answers to their questions regarding lesson plan preparation and expressed gratitude for the organization.

— What is the significance of such training for educators?

— I believe that the regular conduct of such events significantly contributes to the professional development of educators and helps in the effective organization of their work.
