The Ministry of Education has suspended the activities of the accreditation agency "Bilim Standart"
According to the press service of the ministry, the decision to temporarily suspend the accreditation agency "Bilim Standart" was due to the fact that previously identified serious violations had not been rectified, and several council decisions had not been implemented. As a result, the agency's recognition has been suspended for a period of six months.
During the meeting, reports on the activities of six accreditation agencies registered with the ministry for the year 2025 were also reviewed. Proposals developed based on these reports were discussed.
Following the analysis of the National Accreditation Council's work for 2025, the importance of strict adherence to accreditation procedures by both accreditation agencies and educational institutions was emphasized, as well as the need to prevent conflicts of interest and counteract illegal actions.
Additionally, plans were announced to improve accreditation activities, including amendments to existing regulatory legal acts.
