In the Ak-Zhar residential area, where 15,000 people live, there is not a single school, - deputy
Nearby are the residential areas of Nurkojo and Adilet, where about 3,000 children are forced to attend schools in other districts.
The deputy noted that the situation in Ak-Zhar contrasts with the Chon-Alai district, where there are several schools. He emphasized that the construction of a new school in Ak-Zhar should be a priority.
“Recently, an off-site meeting took place, to which Vice Mayor Konushbekovich [First Deputy Mayor Mirlan Baygontchokov] and the Akim of the Sverdlovsk district [Mederbek Amangeldiev] were invited. Unfortunately, they did not show up. This, in my opinion, hinders the work and violates the regulations. The main problem lies in the lack of suitable land for construction. The city plans to build 20 schools, but Ak-Zhar is not on that list,” he added.
