The delegation from Kyrgyzstan, led by the special representative of the president on mountain issues, Dinara Kemelova, actively participated in these events.
According to the president's press service, the main goal of the Congress is to find an optimal balance between innovation, sustainable development, and the preservation of the natural and cultural heritage of mountain regions. This event brought together representatives from governments, experts, and industry specialists from mountain countries to discuss sustainable tourism.

At the event, Kemelova also held talks with the Secretary-General of the "UN Tourism" Organization, Sheikha Al Nuwais, where issues of supporting mountain communities in tourism were discussed, including the development of cultural and historical sites.
The special representative of the president emphasized the need to unlock the potential of Kyrgyzstan's mountain territories, among which the historical sites of the Great Silk Road hold particular significance. Plans for creating infrastructure related to the Battle of Talas and other cultural monuments in mountainous areas were also discussed.
