Laboratories of Kyrgyzstan Received ILAC International Recognition
The laboratories that are part of the Department of Environmental Monitoring of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan have successfully passed accreditation according to the international standard GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019.
According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, they now have the right to use the ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) mark, which symbolizes high quality and unites over 43,000 laboratories in 70 countries.
The agency emphasized that the results of air, water, and soil studies conducted in laboratories located in Osh, Batken, and Jalal-Abad now have legal force on the international stage and can be used in various international matters.
This accreditation certifies that the equipment used, analysis methods, and staff qualifications meet international standards.
It is worth noting that this event is part of a strategic plan to modernize the environmental safety system in Kyrgyzstan.
