In Bishkek, 2 drivers were fined for exceeding exhaust gas standards

In Bishkek, during a raid that took place on March 9, specialists from the Regional Department of the Ecological Supervision Service for the capital and the Alamedin district, together with employees of the Public Safety Management, checked the level of air pollution caused by motor vehicles.

According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Nature, as a result of the inspections, two vehicles were found to exceed the permissible emission levels by more than 50%.

As a result, the drivers of these vehicles were fined a total of 15,000 soms, which corresponds to Article 234 of the Code of Offenses concerning the operation of vehicles with emissions exceeding pollution standards.
