The delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan visited Astana to sign a cooperation program between Kyrgyzhydromet and Kazhydromet.

During the visit of the delegation to the Republican State Enterprise "Kazhydromet," a meeting took place, attended by representatives from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, including the First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Azamat Mambetov and the Vice Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Kazakhstan Nurlan Aldamzharov.

As a result of the negotiations, a Cooperation Program in the field of operational and production activities was signed between the Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan and the RSE Kazhydromet, covering the period from 2026 to 2028.

The document was signed by the Director of Kyrghydromet Timur Almatov and the General Director of RSE Kazhydromet Danara Alimbayeva.

According to the information, the program aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of hydrometeorology and improve data exchange for more effective forecasting of hazardous natural phenomena and disasters.
