On February 9, the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, Meder Mashiev, met with a delegation from the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

According to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the main focus of the meeting was on the implementation of the regional project "Green Cities," which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany.

This project covers countries such as Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic, where the Ministry of Natural Resources is a key partner from Kyrgyzstan.

As part of this initiative, activities are planned aimed at exchanging experiences between participating cities, developing climate solutions, and implementing modern methods of managing environmental processes.

The parties confirmed their readiness to continue cooperation and carry out practical activities within the framework of the "Green Cities" project, which aims to create a sustainable and environmentally safe urban environment in Kyrgyzstan.
