On February 3, a meeting of the interdepartmental commission was held at the Ministry of Nature of Kyrgyzstan, aimed at discussing current issues related to improving air quality. Representatives from more than ten ministries and agencies, as well as deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, participated in the meeting, according to information from the Ministry of Nature's press service.

During the discussion, participants reviewed the implementation of an electronic taxi service in Bishkek, as well as the current state of gasification in the Chui region and the capital. Additionally, the prospects for developing an air quality monitoring system were discussed, including the installation of new sensors and the modernization of existing ones.

As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to create a working group consisting of members of the interdepartmental commission, under the leadership of the Bishkek city administration. This group will focus on the development of a network of electric charging stations in the capital.

The National Investment Fund was also instructed to consider the proposals of Deputy Dastan Bekeshev when implementing the project for launching an ecological taxi in Bishkek, to ensure accessibility and convenience of the service for people with disabilities.

Furthermore, Gazprom Kyrgyzstan LLC was recommended to expedite the implementation of gasification measures both in Bishkek and in other regions of the republic.
